As a follow-up to our story on exclusive cards at Comic-Con International 2011, we’ve just learned more details about the exclusive trading cards SideKick has produced. SideKick is using two pieces of art by American contemporary artist Ron English to make a series of eight cards. The card fronts are shown below and use English’s “Superboy” and “Super Size Me” art. Card collectors will find the cards sold individually ($3.50 each) or as a complete set of eight cards for $24.99 (packaged in blister pack form). The backs form a puzzle (see image below) and each card is hot-foil stamped.
Look for these cards at Comic-Con International exclusively at the Toy Tokyo booth (#5437). Both artist Ron English and Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) will be on-hand at the Toy Tokyo booth signing at various times throughout the show.
